Don will be coming by every Tues for coaching. He'll also be collecting any rackets that need restringing for a modest fee.

UCLA Run/Walk: today we raised $136 for the UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital. Thanks to all who participated and ran for the Badminton Team: Adeline, Annie, Anuj, Eric, Irene, Jason, Matthew, and Tova!

Nominations are closed. Elections for the 2004-05 season will begin Tues, May 18th and end Thurs, May 20th, 6pm.

After an exhausting road trip (with one too many stops) to Stanford, we're all finally back from Collegiate Nationals. UCLA placed 6th overall, with Chris placing 4th in MS and Chris and Michelle placing 3rd in MX. Pictures are up in the gallery and more are on their way.

Great job Irene, Caroline, Annie, Lincy, Linda, Michelle, Bob, Savoeut, Chris, Matt, and Jason.

Unfortunately, UCLA will not be attending the April 3 meet against SDSU and Cal Tech. On a happier note, come Spring quarter the Club will be enjoying its own set of new nets courtesy of SAC.

UCLA will be represented for the first time in the National Collegiate Championships to be held this year at Stanford University, but we need your financial help in making this possible.

Road trip! UCLA took on UCSD and USC today at Rimac Auxilary Gym down in La Jolla, CA.

UCSD brought out an unquestionably strong team and the competition was tough but we garnered two victories in mixed doubles. Good going guys.

The gauntlets came off again against our cross-town rival, for the first time since USC joined SCCBL. The "victory bell" stays in Westwood for another year.

The SCCBL Midseason Tourney will be this Sat at UCI. We may only be able to send 3 teams per event so please speak with Jason if you would like to make the ladder for this tournament. This event is FREE to Club members.

The Team simultaneously took on UCI and PCC today: UCLA beats UCI 8-7 UCLA beats PCC 14-1 Individual results are under Jan 24th of "Schedule".

Welcome back as another year unfolds for UCLA Badminton.

In this quarter's first event we'll be hosting UCI and PCC at home.
As always, dues again will be requested from members. Please pay $15 to Mike ASAP (cash or make checks out to "Mike Li" "Michael Li"), except for Charles who has paid in full for the year (example of great dedication and support!).

Club will begin meeting again this Fri, Jan 9th with the same schedule as Fall.
