Schedule of Site Visits - Spring 2011
Week 1: Sunday, April 3, 2011 from 10AM - 1PM at American Diabetes Association Por Tu Familia Health Fair
Week 5: Sunday, May 1, 2011 from 10AM - 1PM at Phuoc Loc Tho
Week 7 or 8: Sunday, May 15/22, 2011 from 10AM - 1PM at Phuoc Loc Tho

- We will provide health brochures and referrals to free health clinics, test hypertension, and measure body mass index. To sign up for it, especially if you need rides from UCLA, do attend our meeting the week before.

VCH Spring 2011 Health Fair
Where:

When: May 22, 2011
What: Free health screenings provided for low-income families in the Vietnamese community. Screenings include blood glucose/cholesterol, dentistry, vision, body mass index, doctor consulations, and more! Rides to and from UCLA will be provided.
Who: VCH, and the community
Transportation will be provided from UCLA and back to UCLA, sign up with the VCH volunteer director, Angelyn Nguyen: vchbruins@gmail.com

Kids Health Carnival

What: VCH will be holding it's annual Kids Health Carnival! Our goals are to educate kids about various health issues and also hold fun activities and games to encourage healthy habits! Come to our 3rd annual Kids' Health Carnival! This is a fun event catered towards kids age 5-12 to teach them about nutrition, health, and exercise. There will be LOTS of fun games & activities!
Who: VCH and the community
Transportation information: Please indicate in your email to Angelyn you'll need a ride to the Kids Health Carnival and meet at Ackerman Turnaround at 7:45am. Please sign up with the VCH volunteer director, Angelyn Nguyen: vchbruins@gmail.com to participate in this fun event.
Fundraisers
Where: Court of Sciences
When: Monday, April 18th, 2011 from 10-2pm
What: Come out to support VCH and buy our DELICIOUS Vietnamese sandwiches & food! All profits will go towards the supplies for the Health Fairs. So be sure to stop by for a bite, help out, or just simply say hello! :) We need all the help we can! So if you're interested, please email vchbruins@gmail.com your preferred shift times.
