Alpha Epsilon Phi is a national panhellenic sorority, founded in 1909 by seven Jewish women, dedicated to helping women become the best they can be. We prize individuality, encouraging each member to discover and develop the talents and abilities that make her unique.

But just as we value individuality, we also prize togetherness, fostering friendships and a sense of belonging that last a lifetime. When you're an AEΦ, you'll find there's always a sister to laugh when you laugh, to listen when you talk, to lend a hand and be there for you.

We at Phi chapter promote the highest type of womanhood with involvement in the UCLA and Los Angeles community through internships, various student organizations, jobs, research positions, and volunteer work. AEPhi provides its members with endless resources, and each woman witnesses her personal growth and potential during her years here at UCLA.

Throughout the past century, Alpha Epsilon Phi has built upon the foundation set by our seven Jewish founders. Today we are a Jewish sorority, but not a religious organization, with membership open to all college women, regardless of religion, who honor, respect and appreciate our Jewish identity and are comfortable in a culturally Jewish environment.
