The Dedicated Committee Member!

We do a lot of preparation for our health fairs to ensure that they run smoothly.  We have to make sure we have enough health supplies, health educational materials, referral sheets, volunteers, money, and much more in order to run these health fairs.  To make things more efficient, we have split these tasks into different committees.  As a member you will have the opportunity to join a committee.

Overview of Committees

Logistics oversees the inventory of equipment and supplies necessary to provide quality health services in a healthful environment.

Referrals compiles and presents language-appropriate, culturally-tailored referral information of community-based clinics.

Client Relations serves as a liaison between clients and the service providing organizations able to provide resources and services unavailable at APA Health C.A.R.E. 

Database maintains medical records and facilitates access to statistical information in order to best tailor APA Health C.A.R.E. services to the target population.

Health Education aims to increase awareness and understanding of diseases that afflict the target population by creating informational pamphlets and leading discussions about health topics.

Finances actively seeks and applies for grants and organizes fundraising events in order to sustain the operations of APA Health C.A.R.E.

Publicity searches for local media outlets willing to aid in informing the target communities about the upcoming health services that APA Health C.A.R.E. will be attending.
