The Association of Hmong Students was established in 1996 as a support group for the Hmong students here at UCLA.
The organization started with only 4 members and to this day, there are about 30 Hmong students at UCLA.
AHS not only consists of Hmong students, but includes Vietnamese, Laotian, and Chinese students as well as other organizations such as APC and SEACLEAR.
We also collaborate with other Hmong organizations throughout California in hopes of addressing and building a better community for Hmong-Americans.
