Who are we?

We are a membership organization of student, staff, faculty, alumni and community. We produce weekly dance lessons, Mondays from 7 to 11 pm at the Student Union. Eight times a year, we hold large-scale Swing, Salsa, and Tango parties with live music. In addition to that, we also co-host themed vintage ballroom dances in Powell Library and Kerckhoff Grand Salon (with Historical Ballroom Dance Club at UCLA). We host the Kerckhoff Anniversary 1930s Swing Night in January, more than twenty culture nights throughout the year, featuring guest teachers for Greek, Armenian, Middle East (Israeli Folk, Persian, Belly Dance), Latin, American, Chinese, Hawaiian, Bollywood, Swedish, French, and Country Western.

We also have weekly field trips to off-campus events around LA, including Swing, Salsa, Tango, Ballroom, and Folk Dance parties and festivals.

In addition, we want to integrate our passion for dance into the greater Los Angeles community and frequently attend outside and off-campus events, such as vintage dances in Powell Library or the Viennese Ball at Occidental College

When are our regular club meetings?

Our regular club meetings are Monday nights, from 7pm until 11pm. We generally meet in Ackerman Union 2nd Floor Lounge, Kerckhoff Grand Salon or Ackerman Grand Ballroom, but please check the announcements for the exact time and location of our next club meeting.
