We have a rather unique event to tell you all about this week, that I became aware of from our very own Rev. Kusala: a lecture on spirituality and neuroscience presented by Loyola Marymount University this Thursday, February 15. The lecture is entitled "What Can Cognitive Neuroscience Learn from Contemplative Spirituality?" and will examine the effects of meditation on the brain, among other subjects. It is being presented in University Hall 1000 from 12:15-1:15pm. The lecture is free, as well as parking. For directions and to and maps of LMU, you can visit the following webpage:

We also continue our own weekly meditations with Rev. Kusala, this Tuesday, February 13th at the University Catholic Center at 633 Gayley Avenue, from 5:00-6:30pm. Come one, come all - it should be a delightful time. And remember to bring an umbrella and a coat to our meditation if you're able - it looks like it may rain!
Hope to see you there,
