During the past thirty years, we have made significant progress in protecting our environment. Now, that progress is threatened. Many timber, oil, auto, and other companies are hoping that the new administration will support their efforts to roll back the nation's cornerstone environmental and public health protections. These polluters are working with their allies in Congress to overturn key safeguards for our air, water, land and public health. Calpirg is working with a nationwide alliance of public health and pro-environment groups to shine the spotlight on attempts to roll back these protections.
