Latin American Country Delegations
Each year conciencia libre sponsors a student delegation to a Latin American country to give students a better understanding of the political, economic, and social realities of these countries. In the past years we have visted El Salvador and Cuba. On these delegations, conciencia libre members meet with political representatives, public officials, grassroots organizers, student activists, and visit schools, hospitals, and historic sites.

Reality Tours
conciencia libre coordinates Reality Tours to take students out of the University setting and into the community to learn how different community groups work to improve issues affecting Latin America, immigrants, and the local community. During the Los Angeles Reality Tour and US Mexico Border Reality Tour we visit community groups improving transportation, health access, education, working conditions for day laborers, garment workers, immigrants and other marginalized communities.
