First off, congratulations to UCLA Club Tennis' Competitive Team for finishing 29th out of ALL THE CLUBS IN THE NATION!! Great job guys! We expect even greater accomplishments in the future!

May 9th: Community service! We'll be heading over to the Westside Food Bank to assist with this wonderful cause. Contact Watt!

May 16th: ToC Event! This time in San Bernardino, the event will likely be the last one outside of UCLA. Contact Watt above to sign up!

General practices will be held Thursdays @ 8PM at LATC. On top of practices, we will be holding a WTT LEAGUE for the ENTIRE MONTH OF MAY!! Hurry and sign up now! (E-mail Wu!) Some of the basic regulations are:

1)	Sign up individually or as a team
	(Individuals will be placed in a team)
2)	Minimum 2 men and 2 women per team
3)	Each player plays only one set of:
	Men's Singles, or Women's Singles, or Mixed Doubles. No player plays twice in one match
4)	The team with the most GAMES wins
5)	Check this site to see who you play
6)	Match format is WTT
	6 game set, No AD 5-pt tiebreaker at 5-5 in games - Tiebreaker is sudden death at 4-4 - Person who served @ 4-4 serves last point
	Mixed Dubs can make up a game deficit, i.e., - You lose both singles sets (3-6, 4-6) - Mixed dubs "wins" their set 6-4 - Overall game score: 13-16 - IF mixed wins 3 games IN A ROW - set score: 9-4 - game score: 16-16 - Play a tiebreaker (7 points) - Tiebreak winner wins the match
7)	Scheduling will be done individually
	- Self-schedule your matchtimes - Club will initially assist with reserving courts - Sycamore courts are free weekdays - LATC is usually free before 10AM weekdays - Contact Nicole for reservation assistance
8)	Signups close May 1st @ 11:59PM

The Competitive Team headed over to the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades for the annual Post-Regionals scrimmage against Riviera's members! UCLA and USC, this year's finalists and champions, were invited to this special event. Pictures can be found on facebook here.

~~~CT Ladies At Baskin Robbins~~~

Ladies from the Competitive Team (and some of their friends) independently rendezvoused at the only Baskin Robbins to offer cake-decorating classes for the general public (25426 Crenshaw Blvd, Torrance CA 90505).

The ladies learned how to frost and decorate their own cakes to take home!
