In attendance: Team members Mark, Ross, John, Pat, Emily Wu, and Nicole. Justin Ngo, Li Tai Fang, Kent Lau, and Nathan Hua. Ricky Wu also stopped by.

      First match was against Laverne: We put in Kent and Li Tai to start doubles. They went down 4-0. We subbed in Mark and John, they lost 6-2. Emily and Nicole won 6-4. Nicole won the singles in a tiebreaker. Nathan began the singles and went down 3-1. We put in Justin, he lost 6-1. We were down 6 going into mixed. Pat and Emily won the set 6-3, then three straight games to send it to a Supertiebreaker, and won that to take the match.

      Second match was against UCSD: Mark and Ross got spanked in doubles, 6-1. Emily and Nicole won I think. John lost the singles 6-2. Nicole lost in singles 6-1. Pat and Emily won the set, but needed to win around 9 straight games. They couldn't pull it off this time.

      Third match was in the consolation bracket versus Western Washington. Li-Tai and Nathan started off the doubles and went down 3-1. Ross and Pat subbed in but lost 6-4. Emily and Nicole won I think. Emily also won the singles 6-1. Justin lost the doubles 6-0. We were down 2 going into mixed. Mark and Nicole lost the set 6-3.

      That ended UCLAs day. We technically finished tied for 7th. We did manage to head over to the local sports bar and watch UCLA beat up on Kansas in the Regional Final, so that was a good ending.
