Long-time supporters of UCLA IM/Club tennis, Dr. Ho and
Mike Tarre, have once again prepared a day of tennis for
our beloved Bruins and our cross-town Trojan rivals at the
renowned Riviera Country Club. This one-day competition
serves "as a tune-up for the Nationals," said SCTA organizer
Linda Milan.
At the Club, UCLA and USC competitors will be facing a
Riviera Team organized especially for this event. The three
teams will then face off using the same WTT format
in place at Nationals later this month.
Milan continues, "Each of you [UCLA and USC] will play the Riviera team.
While 1 team is playing the Riviera team other
players from USC & UCLA can also be playing each
other, either in the same format or
not. We will have 5-6 courts for the complete time."
This exciting tournament is scheduled to take place on
Sunday, April 15th, from 12:30-4:00.
Spectators are welcome, and encouraged to come watch some
exceptionally riveting tennis!
