This was supposed to be the big day, but the city of San Jose had other ideas. 30 minutes into the ride a rather "moist" looking fog line turned out to painted no more then 5 minutes earlier. Most everyone's bikes got a nice new paint job, unfortunately.

Alex slipped on the paint and bent his micro Look derailleur hanger. Eric got compulsive about his bike so both needed to turn back. In the spirit of keeping the group on the same plan (and still feeling the burn of hamilton) we decided to shorten the ride to just a few hours and put a big ride tomorrow with everyone.
