My name is Greg Schiller and I'm the fencing coach at UCLA.

Me - I have been coaching for about 10 years now. I started with Maestro Delmar Calvert at UC Santa Cruz back in 1988. I studied all three weapons with him and assisted him with coaching while I was there. Delmar Calvert has turned out several Olympians as well as several US Champions in his 50+ career. I also studied with Peter Burchard (from San Francisco) and with Sergei Mindirgasov (an ex-soviet world saber champion).

I started coaching at James Monroe HS back in 1994 and took over at UCLA 3 years ago.

I placed 7th in Div II Saber back in 1998 or 99.My team placed 3rd in Men's Team saber that year.I have a pile of medals and trophies from local and Section events. But I am most proud of the accomplishments of my students -- at UCLA and at James Monroe HS.
