The International Students Association (ISA) is an organization targeted towards international, and internationally-minded American, students and scholars at our university. Next to guidance and help, we organize all kinds of social activities and fun get-togethers. Most of all, we are friends from different cultures and countries!

ISA caters to the needs of 2,000 international students and scholars. Currently, ISA membership is about 50% graduate students and 50% undergraduate students.

Many of ISA members are non-international students of various ethnic backgrounds. Unlike ethnic and cultural specific organizations of UCLA, ISA consists of students from different cultural backgrounds. ISA is proud to be a true "diverse" university organization, especially when the diversity aspect of UCLA is being questioned by many students who feel that cultural groups tend to separate students from different backgrounds.
