Advice on how to relieve stress:
1. Don’t worry over things you have no control of
--i.e., exam results
worrying over your grade after you’ve taken a test won’t make a difference on how you did.
2. Find one place where you can relax
-- i.e., the park or a cafe and go there when you feel overwhelmed
it’s important to have some time for yourself, so make the time.
3. Be organized and manage your time
-- i.e., don’t put things off to the very end, but plan ahead
if you have a week to finish a paper, spread the work over a few days.
4. Have someone you can talk to and have a way to express what’s on your mind
if you feel uncomfortable talking to someone, keep a journal.
5. Change your approach
-- i.e. don’t say “I have to” but “I choose to,” change “I can’t” to “I will try,” etc
