Kevin Suda 3rd Year, Religious Studies/History Major Kevin is from a small, cozy town in northern Oregon known as Lake Oswego. He is a die-hard snowboarder, enjoys playing casual basketball, and jamming with his fellow Kyodo members. His favorite memories are from his first year in Kyodo as a newbie, under the directorship of Christine Kimura and Minoru Nishida. "Hot Dog!"

Ryan Chuman 3rd Year, History Major

Keiko Harada 2nd Year, Math Major Keiko played basketball and tennis in high school, and still plays for fun. She is also an active member of the Nikkei Student Union.

I came into the team with no background experience and a lot of nerves, but the older members immediately made me feel a part of the team. There's been a lot of blood, sweat and crying, and a ton of good times since then. Being a part of this team has been a central part of my college experience and I welcome you to come check us out."

Zachary Scott 2nd Year, Design/Media Arts Major Aside from playing taiko, Zachary is an avid shoe collector and head designer for the UCLA Cultural Affairs Commission.

Candice Shikai 4th Year, History Major, Philosophy Minor Candice grew up watching the renowned Christine Kimura in Zendeko since the age of 5-ish and hoped someday to learn how to play. Now a fourth year Kyodo member, she has found a special place for taiko and the tea. Candice enjoys splurging on overpriced food and clothes, risking skin cancer on the beach, g-chatting compulsively, and helping out the Asian American and Pacific Islander community. Yay!
