About Us

By presenting Guest speakers, Interview workshops, Dress for success events, Mock case studies, Graduate school workshops, and networking relationships, LBSA UCLA advances the Latino student by preparing them to succeed in Corporate America. Throughout the year, we coordinate various community service events such as beach clean-ups, canned food drives, and outreach programs. LBSA takes part in social events with other organizations on and off campus, in the community and professional sectors. Our main Community Service outreach runs through our own tutoring and mentoring program Adelante. We also organize weekly professional workshops to develop the knowledge and basic tools for all future career objectives.

As a student organization our goals are as follows:

• Raise awareness of career opportunities in business and serve as a networking resource by hosting various events with our corporate sponsors.
• Help members develop leadership skills.
• Promote academic success and professionalism.
• Encourage community conscious professionals via involvement in our Adelante Tutoring & Mentoring Program.
