<h1>Welcome!</h1>
<p>
The Lambda Graduate Student Network (LGSN) exists to
bring together UCLA's LGBT graduate students, faculty,
staff, and alumni through a range of social events in
order to facilitate the formation of intellectually
stimulating and diverse peer networks within and
beyond the academic environment. Our focus is on
creating fun and accessible social opportunities that
cater to the busy lives of graduate students: many
events will be on campus, and all events will be
geared toward low cost and convenient scheduling. All
interested UCLA graduate students, faculty, staff, and
alumni are encouraged to participate! LGSN events
during the academic year include:

<li>The Fall barbecue!</li>
<li>Regular happy hours</li>
<li>House parties each quarter</li>
<li>Outdoor activities (even graduate students have to see the sunshine at some point)</li>
<li>Bar nights, lunch buddies, and other events </li>
</ul>

LGSN also maintains a mailing list that is used for LGSN-related
announcements. This list is kept confidential and all
information is held with complete privacy in mind. To subscribe
