We will be screening a drama based on the novel by Nobel Prize winning
author Imre Kertész, produced by Gábor Tompa. There will be discussion
with Gábor Tompa before and after the screening.

15: The Sándor Kõrösi Csoma Inheritance
Csáji László Koppány Asia researcher will be giving a
lecture on the Sándor Kõrösi Csoma inheritance and the current
steppe civilizations. There will be a screening of a montage of his documentaries,
which had been a series on the Duna TV channel.

Edit Rohonczi will be giving a presentation on the introduction
of the Bologna System and the current state of higher education in Hungary.

The Hungarian Club
will be learning traditional Hungarian winter songs, which we will sing
during our 30 November outing at the Consul General's residence. The rehearsals
will be held by Melinda Borbely, Hungarian language and culture professor
at UCLA and by Balint Sapszon, a Fullbright scholar in the Music department.

the new Consul General of Hungary in Los Angeles, has kindly invited the
