The UCLA Public Affairs Society publishes an annual journal of Public Affairs which includes articles related to the fields of public policy, international affairs, social welfare, urban planning, and public health. Students from all academic fields are encouraged to apply, as the Review endeavors to incorporate a broad range of multidisciplinary perspectives. |
Please adhere to the following guidelines when drafting your submission:
- The article must be on a topic related to public policy, international affairs, social welfare, urban planning, or public health.
- The article must be currently unpublished and not have been submitted for publication elsewhere.
- The author must be a UCLA undergraduate at the time of submission.
- Citations must be made in Chicago Style. Please use footnotes and do not directly cite within the article.
- The article must be three to twenty pages in length, single-spaced, and in 12 point Times New Roman or Arial font.
- Multiple submissions are encouraged. However, only one article per author may be published.
- Articles by multiple authors are also encouraged for submission.
Additionally, please submit a cover document with the following:
- Title of article, author's name, email, and telephone number
- Brief biographical statement (4-5 sentences) of author, written in the third person
- One paragraph summary of the submitted article
Submissions for the 2006 issue will be accepted through April 7, 2006.
