April 29, 2011 - 3:24 a.m.

In partnership with Filipino-American Service Group, Inc. (FASGI), the Silver Lake Medical Center, and Filipinos in Health Sciences (FIHS) at UCR, PCH will be hosting the very first Annual Healthy Tayo Health Fair. The goal of the event is to provide free health services and education to the underserved of Historic Filipinotown, especially the uninsured. The following services and screenings will be present at the event, completely free: glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, body-mass index, bone density, stroke screenings, mammograms, pap smears, doctor consultations, and much more. If you are in need of any of these services, we encourage you to attend!

If you would like to volunteer, follow the instructions on this form: HEALTHY TAYO VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION

2009 Welcome Video: Gotta Check'em All!

September 25, 2009 - 4:50 p.m.

Watch PCH's video on YouTube (shown above), which was shown at the Pilipino Welcome Reception on Sept. 24, 2009. Enjoy Gabe's "singing" and "rapping" (we're not sure if you can actually classify it as that) to this Pokemon/PCH themed clip! The credit for the vision and video editing goes to Staff Assistant Ryan Andre, who did an amazing job. Other actresses include: Jamie (volunteer at battle scene), Sam (singer/dentist/volunteer), Gem, Charisma, and Maureen (volunteers). If you attended the event, thank you so much for coming to support and check out the UCLA Filipino orgs! We hope you had a great time.
