Membership
Whether you are determined to attend Law School or still deciding on the right path, the Pre-Law Society at UCLA can advise you on everything there is Pre-Law.
Membership applications for the 2009-2010 school year are currently being accepted.

Membership Process
1.) Submit your application + $50 check, made out to “UCLA Pre-Law Society”
2.) Wait for processing (please allow up to 2 weeks)
3.) Once you receive an email to join our prelawsociety UCLA Yahoo! Groups mailing list, that is your official confirmation of membership (if applicable, please ACCEPT the invite in order to receive our emails)
4.) Now, you’re a lifetime member of the Pre-Law Society at UCLA!
How to Submit Your Membership Application
- Hand it in directly to our Membership Director at any of the meetings
- Stop by the Political Science front office (4289 Bunche) and ask them to place it in our mailbox
- Drop it off in our folder that is on the bulletin board, in the hallway of the 4th floor of Bunche
General Membership FAQs
- We will accept membership applications throughout the entire quarter. The filing period opens from the 1st meeting until 8th week of each quarter. If you miss your opportunity to join during a specific quarter, please submit your application during the next quarter's application period.
- You do NOT have to be a member to attend our events. All students are welcome!
Member Privileges & Benefits
- Receive our annual LSAT Prep Course Scholarships (when available)
- Eligibility to apply for the Pre-Law Society Outstanding Senior Scholarship
- Eligibility to submit articles for publication in the Undergraduate Law Journal
- Eligibility to participate in all Pre-Law Society Committees
- Access to specific job & internship opportunities

Membership Requirements
- Membership is only open to UCLA students
- Membership applications must be completed and successfully submitted for review before acceptance
- Lifetime Membership to the Pre-Law Society includes a one-time membership fee of $50.00.
Dues must be paid by check only. Please make checks payable to "UCLA Pre-Law Society."
Membership dues are non-refundable. Members must be responsible for any fines related to bad checks, insufficient personal funds, etc. with their own banking institution.
