The Den is the official UCLA student fan group that is focused on promoting student fan attendance, encouraging enthusiasm for all UCLA sports teams and enhancing general school spirit among the student body. As you can see on our website, The Den hosts and coordinates a large variety of events like the basketball Tipoff party, football tailgates, rallies, and coaches banquets. We also produce the UCLA Student Section newsletter which is distributed at all home football and men's basketball games. Finally, we represent the entire UCLA student body by championing greater social issues as evidenced by the Jackie Robinson Memorial Plaque campaign currently targeted for the Intramural Field.

While The Den is solely a student group whose function is to enhance current students' collegiate experience through UCLA athletics events, anyone can become a Friend of the Den. For a donation of $10 or more, Friends of the Den help support the goals of The Den by providing the resources necessary for the group to be successful. As a thank you for your support, Friends of the Den will be able to get a taste of the student section by receiving an annual subscription to the Dirt from the Den emailed to them prior to every home football and basketball game.
