The Heartsaver CPR/AED Course
The Heartsaver CPR/AED Course covers how to use an AED, which has become more important since AEDs are now found in the majority of large public places. Students also learn about performing CPR and giving first aid for choking on adult children, and infant victims.
The Heartsaver First Aid Course
The Heartsaver First Aid Course provides the skills to effectively assess and handle emergency situations until the arrival of emergency medical services personnel. Topics covered in this course address how to recognize symptoms of various conditions and how to treat the victims accordingly. These topics include, but are not limited to, wound care, animal sting/bite care, various shock care, and poison control. This course has been developed using the same evidence-based process as all American Heart Association Emergency Cardiovascular Care courses.
