Pre-Registration Instructions
1. Determine the course you want to attend from the schedule.
2. For EACH COURSE you want to take, download and complete the registration form above.
3. Write the course date and location in your planner or on your calendar. (Remember, your money is non-refundable.)
4. Create a self-addressed, stamped envelope so that we can mail your certification card to you.
5. Enclose your registration form, stamped envelope, and cash payment ($7 for undergrads, $11 for everyone else) and drop it off in mailbox #17 (next to the staircase) on the 3rd floor of Kerckhoff Hall.*
*Note: Payment for pre-registration must be received by 12pm on the Thursday before the class you want to attend. If you have missed the deadline, you may join the class as a "drop-in" participant (see below).
Drop-in Instructions
1. Determine the course you want to attend from the schedule.
Make sure you remember the time and location of the course.
2. Download and complete the registration form above.
Create a self-addressed, stamped envelope so that we can mail your certification card to you.
3. Bring your cash payment ($7 for undergrads, $11 for everyone else), your registration form, and your envelope to the class you hope to attend.
Note: Drop-in students are not guaranteed enrollment. Pre-registered students have priority. If they all show up and the course is full, you will be turned away. If there are spaces available, drop-in students will be taken on a first-come first-serve basis.
Courses for Private Groups (S08)
On-campus student groups may request a CPR or First Aid private group class. Please follow the instructions below to request a private class:
1. Your group must have between 12-20 students. If your group has more than 20 students, we will need to divide your group and arrange for two separate classes, hopefully at the same time. If your group has less than 12 students, please enroll in one of our regularly scheduled classes.
2. Email uclacpr@ucla.edu at least 3 weeks prior to your anticipated class date to request a private class. In your email, please specify:
(1) the name of your group
(2) the type of class you would like to have
(3) 3 dates and times you would like to have the lesson
(4) the approximate number of students attending
(5) a contact phone number and email address
Note: Private classes must be scheduled during regular class times. Please check the schedule of classes to make sure one works for you before contacting us.
3. After we receive your email, we will review your group's request. If there are not any other people pre-registered for the class requested, we will close that class to the public and reserve it solely for your group. We will then email you back to confirm the class.
Note: There is no guarantee we will be able to close a class for you. However, the sooner you contact us and the more available dates you have to hold the class, the more likely it is that we will be able to accommodate your group.
4. You are responsible for collecting money from your group members. The cost is $10 per student. We only accept cash as payment. The money must be received at least 1 week before the start of the class and is non-refundable. Along with the money, please include each student's registration form or a list of attending students' names and their email addresses. If this is not received 1 week before the class, your class will be cancelled and opened to the public.
