Tau Theta Pi takes pride in what makes them unique from other organizations. The sisters are diverse in style, music preferences, interests, ethnic backgrounds, and career choices. Each member has something that distinguishes her from others. If you enjoy clubbing, partying, hanging out, movies, shopping, sports, concerts, etc., there’s a Sister that likely shares your interest. There is no cookie cutter mold for what makes Tau Theta Pi distinctive. We enjoy being together because we share a bond like no other – that of sisterhood.

Although Tau Theta Pi was just established at UCLA, it has provided numerous opportunities for its members, including the chance to:

ACADEMICS

The most important reason Tau Theta Pi exists at UCLA is for higher learning. Tau Theta Pi ensures that our educational goals of earning degrees, learning, and maturing are taken seriously. In order to promote academic achievement, Tau Theta Pi provides and encourages study hours, tutoring, mentoring, study files, and much more for their active sisters. We understand that students have their academic obligations and schedule sorority commitments around them.

SOCIALS

Sisters of Tau Theta Pi never forget one of the most essential aspects of college life – the social aspect. Unlike other sororities or Lil Sis programs that may be ethnically or socially restricted, Tau Theta Pi associates with a variety of organizations. Social events can include anything from fraternity exchanges, club parties, formal presentations, and installs – to fundraisers, community service, or just a simple kickback.

PHILANTHROPY

Sorority life is not just about reaching out to your own sisters, but it also entails staying true to civic duty and reaching out to your community. The ladies of Tau Theta Pi devote their own time to servicing and giving back to the community in any way possible.

SISTERHOOD

The single, most important reason for joining Tau Theta Pi is for the sisterhood. Through this organization, you will meet some of the most amazing and inspiring individuals that will touch your heart and impact your life in ways no one else can. Although there are constant sisterhood events to promote bonding, the amazing qualities of each sister are what truly make being a Tau worth it. Tau Theta Pi is not the stereotypical Greek organizations; Tau Theta Pi is not about the name, the pride, or the reputation – but all about the girls that make up this unique sisterhood.
