Our next meeting, Thursday, March 6, 2008 -- Professor Batten has graciously volunteered to give a lecture/lead discussion about Ian McEwan's novel "Atonement" at our next UEA meeting. We encourage everyone to come out, even if you have not read the book, attended a UEA meeting previously, or if English is not your major. Professor Batten is making a special trip up to campus for this event and we would love a large turnout. Please note we will be in Humanities 222B for this great event! You can also join the UEA at 7:00 following the meeting at the Ackerman Grand Ballroom to watch "Atonement" as CEC's $2 movie. Don't miss out on a chance to discuss current literature with your peers!Minutes
