Hong Kong Trip Fundraising

Carwashes:

• 1pt — Half-day participation.
• 2pt — Full-day participation.

Garage Sales:

• 1pt — Donation of materials.
• 1pt — Half-day participation.
• 2pt — Full-day participation (including set-up/take-down).

Pizza cards:

• 1pt for every 2 sold.

Spare change:

• 2-3pts for every change jar turned in.

Gift Wrapping:

• 1pt for every three hours of giftwrapping. Those who are one hour over a multiple of three will be rounded down and those who are one hour under will be given the extra point, but owe 1 hour of work later on (e.g. 10 hrs gives 3 pts but 11 hrs gives 4 pts and owes 1 hr of work).

Raffle Tickets:

• 1pt for every 5 tickets sold (1 ticket for $3, 2 or more tickets for $2.50 each)

Letters:

• 1pt — 5 personal addresses (unlimited)
• 1pt — 10 relevant business addresses (max 2 points)

Note: For the carwashes and garage sales, your friends can help earn points for you by doing anything listed in that section (by agreeing to donate to the garage sale, for example). Also, if you feel that you have a valid reason for not participating in these events and still want to earn points, please contact Middy Pineda (mapineda@ucla.edu) to work out secondary fundraising options and points assignments.
