Thanks to everyone who came out to our first practice on Tuesday! Our second practice of the year will be on Thursday, September 27th, 2012 in the Gold Room of the John Wooden Center from 9:40pm to 11:40pm. Again, no previous experience is required!

Also, come find UCLA Wushu at the Sports Jamboree on Friday, September 28th, 2012 at the IM Field from 4-6pm. We will be demoing! You will also have a second chance to sign up for our email list and to get one of our snazzy fliers.

Lastly, don't forget about our demo at the LA County Fair on Saturday, September 29, 2012 (see previous posts).

On Monday, September 24th, 2012 from 10am-2pm at Royce Quad/Wilson Plaza, come find us at the Enormous Activities Fair to find out more about our club, to sign up for our email list, and to meet some of our current members! If you cannot make it to the fair, feel free to email us at wushu@ucla.edu to join the email list.

Secondly, our first official practice of the year will be on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 (Tuesday of Week 0) in the Gold Room of the John Wooden Center from 9:40pm to 11:40pm. No experience is required; all beginners and non-beginners are welcome! After Tuesday, we will continue our regular practice schedule with practices every Tuesday and Thursday (yes, there will be practice on Thursday, September 27) from 9:40pm to 11:40pm in the Gold Room of the John Wooden Center.

Lastly, don't forget about our demo at the LA County Fair on Saturday, September 29, 2012 (see previous post).

Once again, UCLA Wushu will be performing at the LA County Fair on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 1:30pm for UCLA Day!

Last Saturday we performed at the L.A. County Fair in Pomona. It was super hot, 100+ degrees but we still had a great time! We were grateful for the help of the fair staff and had a great time in the parade! Coach Lu and Justin came out for a master demonstration as well!
